The Los Lunas Substance Abuse Center (LLSAC) is intended to develop and provide state-of-the-art treatment programs for clients and training for the operators of substance abuse facilities and programs throughout the state. The initial phase of the LLSAC consists of the 31,500 square foot Intensive Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment &Training Center (IOPT). Future phases are slated to include a Women’s Residential Treatment Facility (WRT) and a Men’s Residential Treatment Facility (MRT). The IOPT includes administrative, counseling, training and food service components. The primary mission of the IOPT is to provide support services for the WRT and the MRT, provide outpatient substance abuse counseling services for the population of Central New Mexico, and provide a Training and Telehealth Learning Center for behavioral health professionals.
